I am a professor of economics at the Institute for the Evaluation of Labour Market and Educational Policies (IFAU) and an adjunct professor at the Department of Economics, Uppsala University.
My research combines theoretical and empirical approaches, focusing primarily on public economics. I have a particular interest in taxation, studying its design, implementation, and effects on efficiency and equity. I am also interested in the implications of automation and AI for both labor markets and tax system design, as well as how the structure of the labor market, such as wage determination mechanisms, affects the design and outcomes of public policies.
